Description
Seahags resemble mermaids at an advanced age, something the nymphs themselves do not show. Their fingers are thin and bony, and what little hair still clings to their scalps is ragged, bleached and torn by the sea. They tend to lie in wait near docks for ships to come in, then threaten to sink them unless a toll is paid for safe passage. Seahags will attack, but not feed on, human travellers. A few magic-capable hags use the craft to create illusions of beautiful sea-nymphs on lone islands, luring sailors to their deaths and scavenging for useful trinkets.
