Description

The feligrath stands three to four feet tall and nearly five feet long, with markings similar to a Siamese cat. They can be found all over Damasca. Omnivorous, but will not hunt anything larger than themselves. Despite this, they will attack anything that threatens them or the safety of their cubs. This isn't normally a problem, but many poachers lust after the newborns' soft, sleek fur and shiny claws, used in clothing and jewlery respectively. A feligrath 'family' is composed of one dominant male, 2-3 lessers, 4-7 females, and about half that many cubs. The females do most of the hunting, and their claws reflect this. A female feligrath's claws are more than twice as long as the male's, ending in atom-tips that are capable of tearing through raw iron. These big cats aren't aggressive unless provoked or threatened. New and experienced characters alike are warned away from hassling any feligrath.
