Description
While not necessarily 'monsters', per se, caravans offer much in the same way. Goods have to be shipped from one town to another, right? How do they get there? Caravans filled with merchants and products! If a player wanted to, they could ambush one of these supply trains, and if the attack was successful, they could rake in some potentially valuable stuff. Two catches, though; Most merchants are aware of the bandits on the roads, and so have packs of guards with them on their trips. This makes it a lot harder to attack a caravan and survive... and if you do manage to stop one and plunder it, whoever those goods were headed to are going to be pissed. They might even decide to hire a few mercenaries and give 'em your name!
